Wednesday will be our last meeting, but it will be an awesome party! Please bring food and a gift for the white elephant game. There will be games, food and fun. We will also be watching Spirited Away. The plot is as follows: “On the way to their new home, 10-year old Chihiro Ogino’s family stumbles upon a deserted theme park. Intrigued, the family investigates the park, though unbeknown to them, it is secretly inhabited by spirits who sleep by day and appear at night. When Chihiro’s mother and father eat food from a restaurant in the street, angry spirits turns them into pigs. Furthermore, a wide sea has appeared between the spirit world and the human one, trapping Chihiro, the sole human, in a land of spirits. Luckily for her though, a mysterious boy named Haku appears, claiming to know her from the past. Under his instructions, Chihiro secures a job in the bathhouse where Haku works. With only her courage and some new found friends to aid her, Chihiro embarks on a journey to turn her parents back to their original forms and return home.”

On Monday, we will be starting Alien Vs Ninja. The plot for Alien vs Ninja: “Once upon a time in Japan, there was a band of great Ninja warriors led by Yamata called Iga Ninja. One day they witness a flash in the sky and a roaring giant ball of fire crashes into the distant forest. The warriors rush into the deep woods in an attempt to identify the mysterious fireball. There, instead of finding predictable enemies, they are stunned to face never-seen-before creatures with claws and fangs, the aliens! The hungry brutal aliens start to savage and feast on the Ninja warriors, leaving only a few to survive. Yamata and his warriors swear to avenge their comrades’ deaths and risk their lives to challenge the aliens. However, none of the Ninja weapons, neither their swords nor their throwing stars, has any affect on the alien warriors. Now the Japanese greatest Iga Ninja face the biggest challenge ever!” There will be gore. Also done by the same people who did Machine Girl.

We will be staring Mouryou no Hako on Monday so be there also come with ideas of the movies we want to watch the last week of classes on Monday. There will also be a party the last meeting so be there. New officers be at this Monday meeting learn about your position and get stuff. Mouryou no Hako plot is ” The story follows a series of bizzare murders of schoolgirls who have been dismembered and stuffed into boxes. The private investigator hired by a missing daughters mother joins forces with an antique book seller and others to unravel the murder spree.” Warning the series looks like it has blood. You have been warned.

We will be starting Panty and Stocking on Monday. The plot is “ A company of ghosts has moved into Daten City, taking advantage of human greed. Two angels, Panty and Stocking, are sent from heaven to exterminate them — but in reality they got kicked out for bad behavior.”

Anime Detour was awesome. Try to be there next time if you can. Congrats to Tony and Derek for winning the AMV comedy contest. On Wednesday we will be watching Black Rock Shooter and also bring unwanted anime stuff for the auction. The auction will probably be happening during the game that we will also be playing after Black Rock Shooter. The game is you watch the opening of an anime and you try to guess what the anime is about. So be there. The plot behind Black Rock Shooter is “ Mato Kuroi just got into junior high school, and on the first day, someone catches her eye; her classmate Yomi Takanashi. The two meet.The innocent and naive Mato. The mature Yomi. Seemingly opposites, but the time they spend together only strengthens a growing friendship. We will be staring Aoi Bungaku on Wednesday. Remember that Anime Detour is this weekend and get a ride or a room which all rooms are gone. The plot for Aoi Bungaku is : “An animated adaptation of six classical Japanese literature pieces, including No Longer Human (Ningen Shikaku) and Run, Melos (Hashire, Melos) by Osamu Dazai, Kokoro by Natsume Souseki, Hell Screen (Jigoku Hen) and The Spider’s Thread (Kumo no Ito) by Ryunosuke Akutagawa and In the Forest, Under Cherries in Full Bloom (Sakura no Mori no Mankai no Shita) by Ango Sakaguchi.”

We are having the St. Patrick’s Day party tomorrow. Wear green to win a prize. Play some Tony, Derek, and Lindsay anime games. Watch some Battle Royale (Battle Royale also has blood if you want to know I guess). Maybe you want to play some DDR if that works out.

The next anime we are watching after Spring Break is Ookamikakushi. The plot for the anime is as follows: “ Kuzumi Hiroshi moves with his crippled sister and his father to the remote city of Jouga, which is famous for its hassaku citrus and the rumors that a species of enormous wolves once lived in the area. While some of the residents are more than friendly, when people begin to vanish suddenly, it becomes apparent that something sinister is afoot…” I hope you all have a wonderful Spring Break and see you lot on the Monday after Spring Break. We will be starting This Ugly Yet Beautiful World on Monday so be there. The plot for this anime is: “High school student Takeru Takemoto works part time as a (motor)bike courier. During one of his deliveries, he saw a mysterious light passing him and fell into a forest.
